Deep house and tech-house Slant records’ newest addition

Itallian native Rico Casazza has a varied musical background of classical, soundtrack and dub, but his core interest is quality, 4/4 techno & electronica. After moving to London in the late ’90s, he established a name for himself as a DJ and producer through his music, which has been released on a number of underground electronic music record labels. Along Gabbi Lopez and Kid AM, he runs Release Sustain, a record label focused on neominimalism techno/house music, and has also releases on Archipel, Slant, and Soma.

He has held a few London residencies including “Ninezeronine,” a techno/house/electronica night at the Cafe1001. Other London venues include Fabric, The Egg, Crucifix Lane, Turnmills and Russian Bar. He has also been guest to many European countries like Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Italy, Poland and Czech Republic.
