Detroit based DJ, Mr. Joshooa became addicted to dance music after taking a bar tending position in 2004 at the now infamous TV Lounge. His influence stemmed from watching pioneering talents such as Delano Smith, Norm Tally , Minx , Rick Wilhite and Kenny Dixon Jr. on a weekly basis while working the night shifts. In 2008 Mr. Joshooa started a weekly cycle of his own, cleverly named TV Dinners, which has been running strong for over 4 years. Like any grass roots production this once small and humble residency and has grown big enough to support such acts as: Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, Ryan Crosson, Dewalta, Mike Huckaby and Richie Hawtin. Through the years Mr. Joshooa has been fortunate enough to play along side the likes of Visionquest, Jimmy Edgar, Franklin Decosta, K.atou and Eddie C among many others. Quickly climbing the ladder of the industry Mr. Joshooa has graduated from bartender to present Talent Buyer / Music Director of TV lounge and needless to say has his hands full keeping the Detroit dance scene alive and thriving.
