Originally from Virginia where a dearth of cultural pursuits encouraged him to create his own, Adrian Rowe has always done things a little differently. A product of the late 90s electronic explosion, Adrian spent most of his youth soaking up every bit of music with an electronic edge he could find building a knowledge of dance music along the way that far surpasses his age. It’s just as likely that you will find him playing classic house and disco at local dive bars as you will playing Dubstep at all ages rave. Now residing just outside of Seattle, he now spends his time melding rich waves of distortion with soaring melody to create a unique and driving sound with an ever increasing amount of original material. With a keen eye toward forward thinking production, elements of glitch, IDM, and shoegaze feed into 4/4 and hip hop beats that drive the dancefloor. Drawing influence from musical artists like David Lynch, Nosaj Thing, Apparat, Squarepusher, Fleetwood Mac, Carl Craig, Plaid, Nathan Fake, and Robag Whume, Adrian collaborates with many local producers and has become a key musical figure in his local music scene. Versatile and open-minded to new styles and sounds, Adrian’s constantly evolving live shows and diverse dj sets continue to keep listeners on their toes and their bodies in motion.
