Diverse and rocking, it drunkenly stumbles the line between old school and new school with dubstep, hip-hop and jungle

Once a Seattle staple (and now Montucky figurehead), Kris Moon is the undisputed all-around heavy weight champion of the Pacific Northwest’s electronic dance music circuit. “From promoting to composing to DJing to winning two Seattle Laptop Battles, this man does it all,” as boasted in his artist profile on the Forthcity crew’s website. As one of the original founders of the now-global Laptop Battle, co-founder of Robotrash, the vision behind the pervasive northwest electronic mailing list Division, creator of Seattle’s Ableton Live user’s group and a founding director of Seattle’s Decibel Festival, Moon has marked a subtle and diverse influence in Cascadia’s dance music landscape.
